Body Alignment
Set your body alignment before you raise the bow. This pre-draw position allows you to ready your shoulders, align your feet, legs, hips, back and arms.
- Ensure that your hips are over your feet, and your shoulders are over your hips.
- Address the target, looking at where you’d like the arrow to hit.
- Place your hands in their final positions on the bow and in the release aid. After this there will be no more adjustment of your hands.
- Raise your head into its final position, which would be proud, upright position.
- Take a deep, strong breath in, and breath out slowly.
