Introduction

This guide aims to be a source of reference to introduce the intermediate archer to more advanced technique and tuning concepts, enabling them to grow into a skilled archer. Essentially, if this guide achieves its goal the archer will outgrow this guide.

Due to the very nature of archery, and humans, there will always be exceptions to the rule. Some legendary professional archers are the absolute examples of perfect form, while other high-level archers are very good examples of what not to do, yet they’re still exceptionally successful. This reference will lean towards “perfect form”, while acknowledging that exceptions exist.
