Objective
Beat your opponents by scoring as many points as possible to reach 300 first.
Preparation
- A group of up to six archers, each with a complete bow setup, who can compete as individuals or the group can be divided into teams.
- Be aware of the skill level of the archers to prevent arrow damage.
- If available, use a target face which has a dart board on it. If not available, a standard target face can be used.
- Depending on the skill of the archers and bow type, separate target faces can be used.
Technique
- Each team/individual starts with a score of 300.
- Each team or archer shoot a total of scoring 6 arrows:
- Individual: 6 arrows
- Team of two: 3 arrows each
- Team of 3: 2 arrows each
- Score the end:
- deduct the score from the individual/team’s current total
- When the total goes into a negative, the end is ignored.
- To win, the score has to be exactly 0.
Notes
- The idea is to shoot the highest score possible in the beginning, but tactics and accuracy matters.
- You can mix bow types and genders.
Step it up
- If you’re using a standard target face, change up the scoring:
- The X scores double.
- The line between the 1 and 2 rings scores 20 if touched.
